Location description
Lenvik Tourist House is located in Jakobsberg, about 20 km north of central Stockholm, in Järfälla municipality. Nearby run the E18 European route and the railway with Jakobsberg station. Jakobsberg centre is also close by, with around a hundred shops, cafés, restaurants and more.

Nature & water
About 200 metres from Lenvik lies the Järvafältet nature reserve. Next to the reserve is one of Sweden’s largest lakes, Lake Mälaren — with beaches and excellent opportunities for many kinds of water sports and tourism, as well as eco-tourism.

Lenvik Tourist House is 700 metres from Jakobsberg centre. About 300 metres from the centre is one of Scandinavia’s largest retail areas, with Bauhaus, IKEA, Elgiganten, Plantagen, Mio, City Gross and many other well-known stores.

By public transport: take the commuter train from Stockholm Central Station towards Bålsta. Get off at Jakobsberg and walk to Vandrarhem Lenvik. There is private parking by the hostel for guests staying with us. Address: Lidvägen 37, 177 40 Järfälla.
