Location description
Welcome to Lenvik Hostel in Haninge and experiences in our wonderful archipelago. Haninge’s archipelago has 3,600 islands, islets and skerries — including some of the best-known islands in the Stockholm Archipelago. Haninge lies just south of Stockholm, only about 20 kilometres from the city centre, and is easy to reach by car, commuter train or bus.
The archipelago
Take the boat from Strömkajen in Stockholm, or from Årsta havsbad and Dalarö if you are already in Haninge. By car or bus you can go all the way out to Muskö via the long Muskö Tunnel.
Not only the archipelago
In Haninge you can also explore mystical wilderness, hike in ancient forest and swim in clear forest lakes in Tyresta National Park. You will find Tyresta village and the National Parks Visitor Centre (naturum). The municipality has 14 nature reserves, a national park, outdoor areas, castles and parks — nature, culture and history are close at hand.
Maps and brochures
Maps and the Archipelago & wilderness brochure are available at our hostel, or at Haninge tourist offices and information points, at the reception of Haninge municipal building, at Arlanda Airport and at Stockholm Tourist Center in Sverigehuset.
